Yes and then he moved down to another booth in the main room. A busy man indeed tonight. He was good enough to buy Floon and I a coffee but later bought the girl next door a candy apple.

Yep thats the guy who put the fishing bug into me some 35 years ago. I swear that guy has caught more fish than I've had hot meals. I don't know if he will like me posting this, BUT he can be found on most sunny days bar fishing at the foot of Burns Rd. Yep, Uncle Bert (Fly Fisher Extraordinare) fishes with BAIT!!!!

Thank you newsman (Jeff), DanTfisherman (Dan) and flyderaght (Marc from FishBC) for helping out at our booth today. It was insanely crowded today! The traffic was non-stop during the first four hours.

I also had a chance to meet some FWR forum members today, thank you all for dropping by and saying hi.

Thanks Buckeye and Don for manning the booth as well.


One more day! Itosh, Trout Slayer and Chrome Mykiss will be doing the fly tying tomorrow. We look forward to see everyone!

By the crowd arounds Hubs pontoon display,it sure looked like a lot of people were purchasing them.The crew ahead of us bought 5 of them  They were even cheaper than last year thanks to our strong can dollar My nefew picked up a fishcat 9 for $549,i paid 599 last year  but i enjoyed it this year

They had sedge fly rod outfits for $99 that included 5wt rod ,decent reel,backing,line and aeven a rod case......you do the math and add all that up.....great beg setup for $100
