biulding your own pin reel?
« on: January 30, 2006, 08:48:54 PM »

hey,
i have been wanting to buy a pin reel for some time now and now i have a metal lathe i can use. So i was thikning that i can biuld my own reel ;D ;DI was talking to a person on the river and he said that he had his custom made out of aluminuim.

i was wondering if anyone has any plans to make a pin reel or where to buy some parts to put together a pin reel together.I was thinking of making it out of alumin too.

so if you have any info on this that would be really help full :)

my pin reel was made by a grade 11 machine shop major student.....while it is not neccessarily the lightest reel out there...I paid the young man his asking price of 40 bux in about 1985....never saw a reason to pay crazy amounts of money for a reel I already own....;)))

Lou will turn things around with his game and the Canucks will make their way back to the top of their division... Canuck's have a great chance of going all the way this year... maybe you can save this post so I can say I told you so in a couple of months Smiley
