First Coho of the season

Got a beauty chromer today.  Rouchly 36 inches in length...real thick shoulders, great fight!  

Hit a #3 blue fox!  Nice to see a fish actually chase down and attack the hook...i still feel a little dirty after the fraser floss fest  ;)

I will send a pic to rod to attach here, tight lines.

oh yes...it was a hatchery fish, tasted great on the BBQ tonight!

In terms of the river...sorry guys, I hiked for 3 hours today and didnt see a SINGLE fisherman...I intend to keep it that way!

no question that the pole AND the rock are both mine!  ;) ;D ;)

I built that rod up from a blank, 9 foot 8-12lb light action lamiglas wrapped in brown with gold accents accompanied by a shimano conquest (step above the TE) that I bought in singapore this feb....sweeeeeeeeeet combo!

That was the first real fish I have caught on it (besides a bunch of cap coho).
