How does one explain this to ICBC? Does thier coverage include stupidity?

Collision.

Collsion with water is still a collision.

ICBC DOES cover stupidity....that is what ICBC calls your comp.....your dog chews up your interior....covered....your child pukes in the back seat and no ones notices until things are very "rotten".... covered....

Actually they do cover "stupidity" to a certain extent...I had a bucket of bugs (and sea water) spill in my car...long story short, the water cause a backbone type cable to rust out and within a day my Passat stopped opperating nomally.

The cable cost $1400 including labour...luckily comprehensive covered it, less $100 for the dedictible. Considering i got a steam clean/detaiing to get the smell out...I probably came out ahead.  8)

I would hate to see a claim this larger simply get covered like that...it does seem rediculous that someone could do that and face only a $100 deductible!  Oh and a tricket from the RCMP (see pic)  :D

i saw the exact same thing during spring break while quading at pegleg. I have no idea what these people wre thinking  ::)
