Christina Lake
« on: May 09, 2006, 11:17:13 AM »

I'm at work today and I am dreaming of this weekend.   I can't wait to go fishing and drink a few beers and kick back the weekend.  I hope this weather holds up.  Anyone know what kind of fish are in christina lake or if any?  I heard about this lake before and want to check it.  Do you know if it's been stalked with anything?  Also what kind of lure is best for the type of fish in this lake.

Anyone who has fished here before, let me know how it's like or if you had any good or bad experiences fishing here. can you fish from shore or is a float tube required.

FISH ON BABY!! YAHOOO!!!!  I'm SO STOKED!!!!

Christina is a party lake, not really a fishing lake. Very warm water, great for swimming. BUT there is some great smallmouth bass fishing. If you can get off of any of the docks, toss in a tube jig for 'em. great fighters, and good eating too.

MMM! I love Bass Fishing.  I conquer with you.  They are good little fighters. Man, I can party AND fish at the same time and drink my beers.  I might just love this place.

Bass are great. Party hard, and nurse your hang over the next morning, the fish bite all day. no need to get up early. If you have a boat or access to one i can point you in the direction of some good spots near the north end. North end is better than south because there is less boat traffic. all i ask is you STAY AWAY FROM MY DOCK!!!!! LoL.

There are rainbow, cutties and walleye in there  too...well actually the walleye are just a bit south at Cascade Falls.  I'm moving to the area in 2.5 weeks (actually Grand Forks).  It is a great location.

never have I caught a walleye or a cutty in that lake, and I've fished it since I could hold a rod. It does have some very large rainbows if you feel like trolling deep for them, aswell as carp (very big), catfish, bluegill, largemouth bass, and apparently pike and muskie lurking in the south end outlet stream.

I am in HEAVEN!!!!  They also have rainbow?  WOW!  I'm in for a treat.  I'm seriously so excited you have no Idea. Dion, that is some sweet az bass!  A haha!  That's the first, usually some people want to share the dock with me.  You don't have worry. I'll probably bring a float tube.

Thanks guys!  You totally pumped me up for this weekend! SWEET!!!
