Fisheries Careers - in relation to similar topic already posted .

I am in the middle of a Career changing period , I am 23yrs old , and I am currently thinking about going back to school to complete a Computer IT program ( yeah I know ....kinda boring) . I really don't know what else I want to even try to pursue .
Except something in the Fisheries/Parks Dept.

My only concern is that I don't have the "brains" to complete the courses required for some positions .

What are some "basic" entry level careers with in the Fisheries/Parks Dept. ?
Ie: positions that don't require a degree in Bio, Chem. ....
I am not not against taking a 2yr program .

I have talked to a career counsellor , and believe it or not , he didn't have much info to give me . So I thought I would ask here and see if anyone had some insight .

I've taken the fish and wildlife program at BCIT.  Thats a good option, lots of fun too.  From there you can branch out into forestry if you want, fisheries, wildlife or even a Parks aspect.  Another option is the Malaspina Program in Nanaimo.  I think there is also a program at Selkirk in the Kootenays.   All are 2 yr intensive programs.

With this 2 yr program at BCIT , what job outcomes can i expect .? ie: , what could I apply for and are there many openings ?

EDIT: , I just read the course description , I am worried that I am not in the physical condition that may be required , i have bad knees . :'(  There not really bad , I am a Line Cook now , so I think if I can handle that I can handle walking and such . Or am I missing something?
i would have to take the TE course aswell , since I dont have a Chem or Biio. science .Which would not be a problem .

Thanks for the help guys . Keep it coming if you have anymore advice .

Yes , me too. I have a diploma in Outdoor Rec Mngt.  , and 2 years service as a Deputy Sheriff-Vancouver.
