Cap June 26
« on: June 26, 2006, 11:31:18 PM »

I checked out the web cam today and to my surprise the water was up a couple feet with a good flow.  I was quite optimistic about my chances of catching some with the sudden influx of water but the fishing was very sloooow.  It appears to me that the majority of the early run of hos have already gone through the system and are in the hatchery.

I was out sunday and this morning, and I am 0/2...no hits even.  While the water was up on sunday, the fish were nt biting.  this am the water was dead low and once again the fish were interested.

Interestingly enuff bug bumped and I both thought the pool we fished on sunday looked relatively empty in terms of the number of fish.  maybe a good number have been taken into the hatchery?!?  I was hoping that sundays high water would have brought some fresh fish in but that doesnt seem to be the case.

Thanks Gooey your report affirms my assumptions.  At least there are other fisheries on the horizon  :)
