GRASSY BAR!!

Grassy bar,

I was thinknig of going out fihsing this friday and wanna test my new ride out so i wanna make the firsttrip to be a good one so i decided to make it a fishing trip so wanna head out to grassy bar.
Can you walk into it or is it just by boat ride?

I heard from a little birdy that there were people fishing there on Tuesday, but the river seemed to come up again, so your guess is as good as mine.  It was still high there, and a the cross was a bit sketchy if you hadn't done it yet this year!! :)

If we are talking about Grassy Bar below Island 22 the only access is by boat unless they have built a bridge the last while. ;D ;D ;D

I think it will be still too high in that area yet as will be Herrling Island.

There were a couple of guys there as we went by the other day, but the river seems to have come up again, so......  I think Chris is right.  Besides, even if it hadn't, it is still deep and can only be crossed in certain areas.  SO I wouldn't try it.  This coming from the guy that goes in the water, and I mean IN THE WATER after Steelies!! :D :D ;D

Report from a very good customer: He caught a 20lb spring dangling a large HotShot behind the boat with a few ounces of weight. Hows that for selective methods?! lol
