Thanks for the good report Scruffy. Nice catch indeed. But I've heard that some of the upper bars above the Stolo fishing section are not doing well past the early morning. Is there some truth to that? I have done ok on Sat. (2 socks + 25lb spring) but it took a long whole day to get them. Many people were skunked unless they are early birds. DS's report seems to confirm slow fishing in general.  Is so, the natives nets must have scooped up all the fish when they are working. Is there any slow down for Peg Leg past the early morning? Have you seen any native boats or drift nets working? Is there a site to see their openings? Or do they even care? By the way, is Peg Leg wadable now?

FunFish - Peg is wadeable.

Scruffy - must have been at the right end.  I was at the hard working end :(

30-50 people crazy????  You're kidding me.  Peg Leg holds about 400 people when it's CRAZY.

Thanks DS. How high people have to wade. Are 4X4 or jeeps being able to drive across at all?

I think I know why there are so many boats at the Island 22 boat launch. They all head down river. They know they have to start below all the drift nets... ;D ;D ;D

yes it's wadeable but my bros wore their shorts in and man its very cold in the morning as it was put to me the boys are going to get wet if you know what i mean.when i limited out the other day it wasn't at peg haven't been there this season and probably not going to be there either GONG GONG :) my saying goes "go where you've had the success" but of course i say that every year and I'll find myself rolling into peg  ::) just cause it's closer to go to,tight lines to all  :)

The first 4x4 I saw cross was an older Suburban with 14 inch lift.  A Ford with and equal lift made it and a Toyota with 8 inch lift struggled behind.  He was floating, but made it.
