got back in town late last nite and kinda slept but not really, when the wife and boy woke up they asked what are going to do, next thing you know daddy's loading the truck to go fishing
cause of course they want to try their luck,so i dust of the wife's rod and pull her reel out of the cabnet , she hasn't used it since last year during the pink's,the boys 7' ugly stick armed with 10lbs main ready to go,got to the river about 11am to find only two other people fishing
set the wife's rod and away she went hooked four and lost all four at shore
meanwhile my boy and i were casting away with some spoon's that got from Rod (i should say magic spoons) cause about an hour of goofing around the rod tip takes a heavy dive and now he's freaking out i jump out of my chair grab the rod and its on
10mins later, the boy catches his first sockeye ever
about a 10lb chromie.By this time the wife wants to land one as well she's asking to cast for but i was too sore from all that flyfishing and not enough sleep so i said just cast it as hard as you can next thing you know she's yelling over at me I've got one so run over to her to find that she beached another close to 10lb chromer
after that we called it day.
