Took my dad fishing today and believe it or not he hooks and we land a very nice fourteen to fifteen pound wild Steelhead.  I wonder where it was headed??  Thompson?  Maybe some one can shed some light on where it might have been heading for.  We were fishing in Agassiz area.  Really a pretty fish, nice surprise and always a pleasure to see.  Made me wonder how many are getting caught and killed in the commercial and First Nation Fisheries and even by hook and line fisherman?  Hopefully it has an uneventful trip the rest of its journey up river!    Sorry no pic's as I wanted to get it back in the river as quick as possible.

I would not have even posted about it. If you were flossing its just another reason why it should be banned. Most likely a Thompson.

at least he knows his fish and released it . saw a steelhead caught last a couple weeks ago...it was bonked...

Oh whatever Eddie, Obviously he is flossing , funny thing is your the first one to say something, what about the coho getting caught, give it up just cause you think that flossing should be banned doesn't mean everyone else thinks the same, he is just posting saying what they got at least he didn't bonk it like the other guy did a few weeks ago

Give it up? No I will not give it up, who made you the king of the forum. I am allowed just as much right to post my opinion as everyone else. If you don't like my opinion that's too bad for you. I am going to post my opinion when I feel it is necessary. Want another opinion? Taking hero shots of snagged sockeye is not impressive. I can go and get my fish from the commercial fishermen and take pics and it would be about the same. Would I take pics of me holding a fish I bought. Nope.......

eddie man let it be. Flossing is unethical we know that and have heard it alot. He just posted about something cool and did the right thing releasing it quickly. People can do as they please no need to consantly slag them.

I have tons of friends. He would not be one. All I did was state my opinion than he went after me on it. I as well as everyone else on this forum are entitled to their opinion. Nobody needs to get all bent out of shape. Their are constructive ways of replying to ones opinion and then their are negative ways. He seems to choose the negative just showing how intelligent he really is.

I never slagged him for it. Re-read my reply. How is snagging a steelhead cool anyways?
