Commercial fishery opeing i heard was 24 hours long, by the weekend it should be betetr

My understanding is that the opening was 12 hours on Tuesday, Aug 29 - and that it closed on schedule.  Check out the link and scroll down to Commercial Fishery...

myself and chum boy were out this morning (11am) and caught our limit in a little under a hour, we also got into a spring each but never landed any. Today was by far our best day! The action was pretty well non stop!

Was hot for me tonight.  My dad and I were out on the river by 4:30, by 5:30 we had our 4 fish and lost 2.   There were plenty others still needing soxs so we fished for a spring and didn't catch any.  Still hooked plenty more soxs, and as soon as everyone around us had there limit of sox we stopped trying for springs.  Didn't want to hook a soc and then have to release it.

All in all a fun night!

Went fishing today with a buddy. The Fishing was amazing, I had over 40 sockeye on, and passed the rod off countless times. I had never played so many big fish in my life, at one point i had hooked 4 sockeye in a row before i hit nothing again, I thought that was amazing! :o This year has been a super good year for sockeye, they should raise the limit, there is just to many! What you guys think about that?
