Fraiser Slay Fest Late August
« on: August 31, 2006, 10:06:06 PM »

Been fishing the last few days. Fishing was hot. hot. Limits on socs and springs each day. Hooked 5 springs today and 3 yesterday. Red and blue yarn with a little bit of smelly jelly was the ticket. What commercial fishery???????? Go gettem boys.

just having a little fun. I shoun't try to stur things up and ruin this post. These pics are spread over 4 days fishing. I like my brown shirt alot for fishing. There are a lot of springs out there right now. Im taking a break this weekend from reeling in fish. In the pics where I am holding 2 springs, one is one of my partners fish which I helped hook up. Tight lines.

I left it open..and sure enough...someone else called this one... I noticed the Tshirt right away...

So what size were the spin n' glows you were using in that part of the river???

You were float fishing er....f.........with what colours in that part of the river???

Good job on catching the fish....but smelly jelly does nothing in the river.

In the ocean though that's a different story.....

Good job on the fishing though...all ribbing aside....  :D

Smelly jelly does work in the river very well actually as it has made a big difference for me in the past give it a try you will be pleasantly surprised the Halibut feast one has been very good for Sturgeon as I used it on onerod and none on the other and the one with out produced the other 4 to 1 . Putting it on the wool ties has also been a good producer as well as Spin N Glo's when bar fishing I usually put a peice of wool behind my glow for color and again it has out produced other peopls as well in tis instant give it try .

Darn I did not make it again, I woke up with a toothache. Now this will be a bad comment to be making. Not enough flossing I guess. ;D ;D ;D Sorry.
