[Big Steel]

Well it was a fun day out on the River, met some great guys and had a blast eventhough I didn't place in anything.  But that is a story for another day.  Anyhow, we had ThickRick, Merc, Hunter, Dead head, Roekid, Nuggy, Testo84, Lil Fishermen and Myself.  We split up into our Groups and headed to the river after all the rules were explained.  I'll let someelse from the other group tell you their story as I wasn't there.  But in our Group Nuggy Landed one early and I was the only eligible fish all morning.  We have plenty on, but the popped us.  A couple of monsters took off on runs that wouldn't be slowed.
 Anyhow here are the results from the Derby. 
1st: Deadhead with a 38"er
2nd:Merc with a 37"er
3rd:Thickrick with a 32.5"er and Nuggy with the other fish at 31.5"

 I personally don't have any pics from the day, but I am sure that others will post there own.
Thanks to everyone that particpated and made it a great day to get out on the river.

Sure was a good day, being that it was my first time on the Vedder
Saw a whole lot of giant springs!!! And even some Coho!
It was good to meet new people again! Hope to see you all again on the flow!!!

Oh ya Rod, it sure was a nifty speech!

Hey it was nice metting you all on saturday and a great day out on the flow..I cant say I had fun today sunday as there was so many snaggers and long liners,and you now the OTHER PEOPLE  keeping snagged fish.A fellow angler called dfo but with no results.
