Squamish Nov18
« on: November 20, 2006, 11:47:26 AM »

Hi, my name is Charles.  This is my first report or post :)

I hit Squamish the second time this year.  On Nov11, it was great.  Fish was on every 5 casts.  Between my friend and I, we must have over 30 fish on, and more in hook  up, but landed only 6 or so per person.  We both use light gears (8lbs line) and low profile reel.  And that was my first time float fish in the Squamish.

On Nov18, I still landed 6 fish (only one was fresh and clean) but we had far less hook up.  There were not as many people there compare to the Nov 11 trip.  We had to walk and search and tried many spots to find the fish.  On the first time, we just stood at one spot and fish all day long.  There wasn't much fish showing either.  We can see some surface once a while but definitely far less than the Nov11.

We did not try to go back on the Nov19 cause I heard the weather was going to be bad.  But it turns out to be nice in the city.  So, anyone up there still on Sunday catching fish?

And I forgot to mention, all the fish were catch and release safely.  All swim off by themselves swimming away from our hands...

Which river systems are they in? Cap? Vadder? Squamish?  And is it the same as using float to fish for them?
