Hey Chris. I hunted the prairie a lot, a long time ago. I found that when the open ponds were frozen over I would get real good jump shooting out of the ditches. It's better if you have a dog. the other thing about the prairie is, you get the odd green head that has fed on dog eggs, smells up the kitchen in a hurry.

we got a moose a couple weeks ago! Going for black bears in the spring! watch bears, i'm gonna spot cha, stalk ya, and shoot cha!
