Getting That Second Steelhead
« on: December 17, 2006, 09:07:55 PM »

Well time to warm up for the Boxing Day Derby as I picked up my derby ticket today as well as the ticket for the Wally Hall Jr. Memorial Derby that is working out of Fred's Custom Tackle again this year.

I think I will slip out in the morning and but my second for 2006 on the license.

Readers of The Journal will remember the first one on the 2006-2007 license came on April 20th. ;D ;D ;D

Read about number two on tomorrow's Journal, I hope. ;D ;D ;D

Visibility did not look that good this afternoon but the bit of frost we are getting tonight and if the rain holds off maybe the visibility will move up to 18 inches or so first thing.

I wish you luck Chris!! ;)  I was wondering, if the lower stays like it might for long periods of time, might we find you wondering around the upper river at times this year?? :)

I hope I donot have too, strange territory to me. ;D ;D Anyway we will get in some fishing in the lower between the rain, the advantage of living 5 minutes from the river and of course wearing a Leaf hat helps too. ;D ;D ;D
