Vedder 29th December 2006
« on: December 29, 2006, 05:26:44 PM »

Me and dead head and Nuggy went to vedder

was quite a sunny day and in the noon it started getting cold and flurry

deadhead got his steelhead in his very first cast ( maybe 1 minute after we were in that spot ? ) when we decided to check a small stream

me got hit twice and since i wasnt that expert in fishing couldnt hook it well

and nuggy got few bites too

so deadhead basically stopped fishing after about few minutes after we came hehe !

his steelhead was 12 pound ( weighted in fred when he picked up his modded reel ) and it is a doe

here are some pictures

we had lots of funs for sure and i sure got lots of knowledge too

Fished about a hour this morning water conditions good then Gwyn and I put in around a hundred coho carcasses from the Chilliwack River Hatchery into a few off channel areas of the Chilliwack River.

Got a call from The Master out for is first steelhead trip of the new season. He got a Dolly that he said was the biggest he has caught ever on the Vedder, I believe he said it was over 10. No camera as he had it in for repairs. ::) I could not help as I was on the otherside of the river.

I went out for the last hour after doing the coho but nothing, explored some new water, heard two were caught earlier in the day where I was fishing. ;D

Another day of a skunk but at least I got close to a lot of coho although they were a bit red and dead.

Tomorrow is another day, getting closer to a Iron, I hope.
