Was there on Dec. 29 the ramp was closed due to wind damage.  Anyone know when it'll be fixed and reopen?

spoke with someone from the city today who is in charge of fixing it, as you probably know the storm blew all three sections of the floating dock away, as well as damaging and twisting the main walkway down to the dock.  I was told that they hoped to have it back together by the end of February but it may take longer, as they have to get the engineers to check over the whole thing. The dock that was blown away was a rental the city acquired when a barge took the dock out last year. The fellow from the city told me they had plans to expand the dock but in the end it wasn't in the budget.

Okay thank you.  Hope they will fix it soon like planned.  It a long ride from Ambleside.  :P
