Nice fish!

I am having fun trying to figure out where you were, very interesting indeed!

You and me both. I dont know allot of Dolly water in the Fraser Valley area other than the Fraser. Some peoples definition of the Fraser Valley is also different.

Things that make you go hmmmmmm....... ;)

try the harrison  ;D  ;D

I already knew about the Harrison smarta$$ The Harrison is no secret LOL Its also a river where you have to do ALLOT of walking.....That was my first guess especially since their is so much water in the background. Just didnt think anyone kept the Harrison a secret. Now if they were talking about XXXXXXXXX in the Fraser Valley I would understand why you would keep it a secret ;)

Great response Pat ;D  and should I find someone there chucking flies I will know you are seeking the same thing as I, some peace, tranquility and decent flyfishing for aggressive fish. I have to be honest, I stumbled upon the spot myself, but there  are many spots like it that I am sure hold simiilar fish. However, it is water that is often overlooked in favour of the more popular rivers in the valley. As I have grown older (otherside of 30) my needs for a fishing experience have changed. It is not that I have become some flyfishing elitist (in fact until I was on holidays over Christmas I had never hooked one on the fly) however, the thrill of having a fish attack a baitfish/sculpin pattern (hand tied I might add  :) ) and enjoying a beautiful day on some slower water with few people around is quite irresitible. There still are places one can go to get away from the crowds and those spots are much like anything valuable, hard to find and worth a lot of silver ;D, tight lines WS

WS- I like to chase char around in the late summer/fall and spring they are aggresive and put up an unspectacular but determined fight. I know several systems where I can have alot of fun with them in solitude, so you probably will never see me at your honey hole. If you do see me come over and say hi, I will probably have a cold one in my vest with your name on it! Congrats again on a good day!

Cheers dude and tight lines!
