I hear you. We went on a charter with Rollie for chinooks a while back. The original plan was to drift down the Stamp in his boat. He convinced us to fish from shore. He took us in his truck and bushwhacked his way down a steep hill to the river. I sweart we were going to crash down that trail. Somehow we made it. The fishing was fabulous. It was quite an adventure to climb up that hill after fishing.

Rollie has 3 life jackets in the front compartment. We wore them when we went up through the bucket. He always has them on board.

i was out on sunday as well. Jets are sorta a pain when shorefishing but i bet are awsome to fish out of. I only fished 45min as a dropped a screw off my reel in 3 feet of water and couldnt reach it. One hit on jensen wool combo

It's not going to do much good if one falls overboard. Accidents can happen in the wink of an eye. Can never understand why people don't wear floatation devices. It saves lives.

don't be complacent, above the bucket, and anywhere on the Sproat, you'd have to be an idiot to not have a life jacket on! ask your favourite guide how many times he's been in the water. The answer will probably, no, it WILL scare you.

Off shore, expect numbers like you would get on the Vedder when she's in prime shape but with Rollie the numbers will be STUPID by cheese standards! The 20lbs coho killer and I could pick and choose who we wanted to wack!

You'll have fun

hey gofish, next time, ask Rollie where the last boat to sink went down. I'll give you a hint, it wasn't in the Stamp!

maybe the last boat that went down wasnt the stamp, but a few weeks ago a jet boat almost went down in the STAMP RIVER...... boat was taking on water..... luckily all they lost was some gear which they managed to retrieve

***** SORRY gofish, shouldnt have assumed there wasnt life jackets on board.... i just never saw any under the seats or anywhere on the boat and at no time did rollie advise us to put them on..... my bad********
