Another possible idea would be Pass lake. It's still fairly close, has a forestry site, has a good access road and has large fish. It is fly only, however, Isobel lake is close by for the gear mongers and also contains brook trout for a little variety. As for timing, I think that May long would be a good date. Better fishing earlier in the year IMO.

The problem with May long weekend is too many other people have the same idea and sites fill up fast. Also its too close to the FlyBC fish-in at Dragon Lake which I will be attending.

Right now I am thinking the Kane Valley Lakes is a good idea. Davis Lake has a pretty large area for camping. Their are 3 lakes along that road all within 15 minutes. Also I dont think we will be fighting for a camping spot like we would on Tunkwa or Roche.

As far as dates go what about June 8-10th? Some of us can head up on the Friday and hopefully secure some spots for those that cant make it up untill the Saturday.

For some reason I cant find these lakes in the regulations. I dont believe that Davis is fly only but if someone knows they can correct me if I am wrong.

The fish-in wont be a true FWR Fish-in unless King Rodney himself shows up. Set the dates and place so i can mark it in my calendar.
