About a 3 hour drive just before Merritt. Size is up to 4lbs. Most are around 2lbs. Also there are a few other lakes only mins away. Easy? Not easy but I highly doubt anyone getting skunked.

I'll try hard to make it now that we have a set date. I never fished there but will the Kokanee bite if you drink enough of them. ;D

be careful with your dates as it is tough to find a weekend in June where the interior lakes ie) Tunkwa aren't swamped with people.

Are there any facilities at this lake or is it a roughing it type trip?

I just checked out a report - it's pretty primitive. Cool. Bring lot's of water, liquid kokanee and toilet paper. Good times. :D

Is it a provincial site? Who cleans the crappers? Clean crappers are always a plus.

Is it a pay site? Are there picnic tables?

You do pay and someone does clean the crappers. I believe there are picnic tables.

I would check the web site for provincial camp grounds. If it is a provincial site you would be able to book it there.
