Small Creek Steelheading
« on: January 28, 2007, 01:45:10 AM »

Hey i'm heading to a local creek that holds steelies, how small is too small of a fly? The creeks only like 15 feet wide but holds fish up to 10-12lbs. I'll fly fishing for them, any patterns that seem to work well in small/clear streams? I'm new to fly fishing for steelies, but i know that i'll be able to handle them on this little stream.  What flies do u guys sugest?
