Canal is miles of water running from the old meathole to the highway bridge. The KWB was actually not that busy today when I drove by.

Steelieman congrats to you and your friend on catching some great looking fish. It is a shame that people try to rain on your parade since you put in the effort to figure out how to catch such great looking steelhead. Once again thanks for sharing.

Some awesome fish. Congrats Steelieman. What a day out!
Don't worry about where the fish were caught. They don't stay in one place in any given day.  My friend told me he caught 4 in a secret spot in an afternoon. Two days later, he went back and not a touch. Such is the game of steelheading, hit and miss but always the possibility in the next spot you hit.  :)

KWB will now be a gong show*

Lickman and Brown where the gong show yesterday. You should of seen the amount of fishermen from lickman parking lot down to brown. We fished from peach to lickman and when we saw the amount of people we turned around and fished back and we ran into Nicole and then on our way out we ran into coho cody and troutslayer.

Nice fish steelyman, I know what you mean about browne road, holy smokes what a nut show...

Amazing what 10 or 20 caught out of one hole will do!

I was out saturday as well, and covered pretty much all the water from the camp run down to browne road. Some runs I covered twice, all places that I found fish the week before, but it just wasn't in the cards for me saturday... Got a nice fat whitefish though, but they don't count :)

Cheers,
Nicole

I fished Browne on Thursday. I think that was the day after a few fish was hooked in there. I was not aware of that but I got into the run around 10:30 when most of the guys had left. Only 4 of us was fishing the run when it went crazy for about 2 hours. The next day, the run was loaded with people when I got there. That is why I left and drove around looking for different spots. I found a nice run down below the canal and it produced some nice fishing time for us the next day.

Apparently, it was a big "VOID" today. No fish to be found down there. We all know that these fish tend to move around quickly.

Frick, why aren't I catching anything. Ive been out 5 times in the past two weeks pounding pristine water with pristine baits: Boraxed steelhead roe, natural, double hot red dyed single eggs roe sacks, Ghost shrimp, gooey bobs and pink worms. I just don't get it. I'm hoping its just bad luck.

You caught your quota from the Stamp. :D
