Vedder Feb 4th
« on: February 04, 2007, 04:53:16 PM »

Well my friend called me last night and said his dad could take us out today. So I get all my stuff ready for the morning. The day gets off to a bad start a because I slept through my alarm  ::) :-\ Oh well. We get to our spot just after 7 to find no one else there :) We work our way do the runs along the stretch of river we were fishing with no bites. I looked at the other guys gear and we were all fishing the same thing ::) ;D So I decide to change up and put on a nice juicy shrimp. I work my way through a run. I let it drift to the tailout and start to reel in and BAM!! ;D I yell fish on to my friends and they scramble down to help after about a 5 minute battle I bring the beauty to shore. Its a big wild male. I snap a few pics and release the big buck with a huge smile. We fished another run and my buddies dad got a 10 pound wild ( dont have the pics) The rest of the day it rained a lot but no more fish. Here is a couple pics of my wild buck ;D ;D ;D

Way to go. Nice fish. Looks like there are some bigger fish moving in. Saw a few yesterday that where released and only saw a couple of smaller hatchery bonked. Hope to get out again during the week. How was the water from all the rain.

Real nice fish !! when we left the river around 4 o clock it was coloring up pretty bad, I think it will be out for a couple of days from the looks of things  :'(  No fish for me , Merc , BigSteel and XGolfman, we covered a ton of river and saw a few caught but none for us
