Well met up with Trout Slayer in the morning at Riverside and headed out to the Vedder. We arrived just in time for light and started fishing right away. Already quite a few guys out, but we saw nothing caught. Moved down river, and saw a few fish hooked, then a few people carrying out fish from different spots. We did a lot of walking down and up. At about 9am, we saw about 6 fish already landed. On the way back up river from the other side we walked from, we came across a run with some people so we settled in below them. Don't really remember how long we were there until I hooked and landed this one
First landed of the season, bonked and my day was done. We moved around again hoping Trout Slayer would get one, then back down to where i got my fish and still nothing
.
Anyways, we saw about 25 fish hooked, lots landed, and most wild. Neither Trout Slayer or I have ever seen the many steelies hooked in a day. Also met Sea-Run and Fly Guy
All in all, I guess it was a good day for me. Too bad TS couldn't get one, but I'm pretty sure we can be expecting a few fish from him tomorrow
Tight Lines,
Coho Cody
