The jet gets lucky again,Vedder feb 11
« on: February 11, 2007, 05:23:03 PM »

So, like many of you I wandered all over the vedder today, rubber worms, roe, and just about everything else.Me and my buddy Chris fished upper, lower, and down below.
But it was the final hour in the lower river that payed off......I found my spot chucked in a pink rubber worm float down,I come up hard and no rubber worm,(I threaded these on with a needle so they only come off for one reason) so I shorten up the float and put some spring roe on........all systems go......float goes down, FISH ON.As the steelie comes up I see the pink worm in its mouth! It later, falls out.The rest is history a couple of smacks on the head ,time to go home........jj

I was looking forward to being able to find the new holes after the flood, but couldn't fish the lower at all, beacause of terrible conditions. With that little vis they can hold anywhere and u got to get really lucky to put ur presentation infront of one. Nice fish!

Thats the way to do it Jim, nice steely. I know how hard it is to locate those little buggers right now as yesterday I spoke to many people who had'nt seen or heard of any being caught. Gotta be lucky to be good and good to be lucky. ;D :) ;D

Nice fish Jim.  But man, you gotta get yourself some real stogies rather than those little dinky things you got in your mouth!

Sorry MERC I smoked the COHIBA #2 after the pic's. kinda funny every time a stogie goes in my mouth the float goes down, it only took about a 100 cigars on sunday for the float to go down once.
