great video you guys have put together, nice and simple for a beginner like myself to follow along, I found the music somewhat soothing as well.

I'm glad some of you find the video useful. :) There will be more to come. The whole goal is to have you set the tying vise up in front of the computer, watch, pause, tie, and surf the forum at the same time. ;)

This particular pattern has been good to us. Itosh was rewarded with some fine coho and chum salmon last season with it (in fact, the next set of videos will feature his catches). I used the same pattern, with a slightly longer tail, a month ago when I connected with some european perch and sea trout in Denmark.

Any question on the actual tying technique should be directed to Chrome Mykiss, who does most of the tying in these videos. :)
