 BC hydro propose a new quarry on the coquitlam. Is this new or old news ?
either way I'm concerned.

I haven't heard of any new gravel pits on the coquitlam,i sure hope that isn't the case, with the way the city allows the current pits to constantly let the run off   flow into the river and choke off the spawning beds,soon there wont be any fish in that river.

did some checking with the land management bureau , application is apparently above the dam about a km, there has been more than enough industrial damage done to the Coquitlam, really think this should not add to the coquitlam woes. but we should keep an eye on it .
