One last word from me  ;D

You asked how long to sit there?

Now you can be a lazy stick in the mud and wait for a sturgeon to swim up river and find your bait for 2-3 hours or you can move! When I fish a hole I like to get the rods out there staggered out there and leave them out there for about 15-20 mins...this time of year I'd wait about 25-30...this gives enough time for the sturgeon to smell and locate your bait....if they're full they will sit over it...so when you go to reel in make it like your going to hook one RIP UP and reel...sometimes you might get one this way..I know I have....now move down 50-100yds re-bait, and flick er out there....I be you could cover your whole "spot" in less than 4 hours!

Now when you go to hook it.....don't rip on the rod right away...point it at the fish...wait for a small or hard tug..and SPIKE!!!!! YOUR ON BUDDY!!!!! sorry I just get so excited thinking of this  ::) Might take a few times before you get one though...it all comes with time an knowledge  ;)

Abby side of the Mission bridge. Just down stream of the bridge(tidal).Big steel and I did ok there in the fall 3-4 footer. There is also a good spot on the Mission side across from the info both(non-tidal). There is a pull out there with a small trail to the river. The pull out is just west of the info both on the east side of town.

There is also a couple spots in Richmond if you are around that area.  most fish 2-3 footer, with the odd one around 5...  I met someone named Mike there (not sure if he is a member) but he hooked 5 fish in one evening...  But usually is 1-2 fish per 3 hours wait...

Is this spot easy to find? Where do alot of the boat fishermen hang around? Will be making a trip tuesday.
