Didnt see any FWR guys at the cleanup other than Chris,Rodney,Myself, and Leadbelly.

It was a good turnout of I believe 160 people but many of you are on the river so often and not to give back is a little disappointing. Many of the people who gave back dont even fish the river.

I had a very good time and well post some pics once I get them from my buddy.

There was still 160 people there, and some of us can't make every clean up.  For some it is a long drive, the gas prices are crazy and well.... a lot of us have spring cleaning of our own this time of year.  Is it just me, or was this clean up not overly bolstered on here this time?

I got 3 kids and a wife and I still made it....People just need to carpool, that takes the gas part out of it. Also people that live in the Valley who dont have to drive far especially have no excuse. Just a shame thats all. I know BS you go to your fair share its the guys who fish the Vedder 50-100 times a year and dont give back that burns me. I fish it maybe 15 times a year thats it and I still show up.

Who said I was talking about you? Did I mention your name? If you want to post than I will bring up the question. How many cleanups have you attended? How many days have you spent on the Vedder this past year?

I personally was at work getting inventory taken care of.. if I have time off I will make the cleanups !! if I for some reason can't make one I don't need to hear it from you !!!!!!!

I didnt mean everyone silly ricky. I mean those that NEVER give back and NEVER have attended a cleanup. Those are the ones that should be ashamed.

I think we should let Rodney deal with posting up results of clean-ups.  Some people just come off badly, intentional or not.  I didn't really like the tone of the intial thread starter either.  But that is all I am going to say on the subject.

Chill out Freak I am just toying with you. I don't really care if you show up or not or anyone else for that matter. I wouldn't be me if I didn't just say what I said. If you take offense to it, what exactly are you taking offense to? I never mentioned your name. You brought yourself into it. You can say you have to work or whatever but what about all the other times? I think its your conscience nothing more. You only just started a course not like you have been in school for years or even more than a couple months.

Great work as usual by all the organizers, from what I overheard it sounded like there was lots of good promoting and advertizing going on for the event, it showed I think in the large # of people who showed up.could always use more though, esp from the many fishermen who fish here.Giving back is what its all about and Brian is right to enquire where more of you where.

its non of your business how long I have been in school or what i have been doing during the other cleanups, why do you care so much..... yes i did jump into it, becasue the way you said it, so yes that does put me in that category.

There is no where saying i have to be there....

You always, think your better than everyone, you always have the RIGHT answer for everything, Remember the conversation we had, about you questioning everything i did.... if you dont remember maybe i will remind you if you like...

And Yes i will keep posting... just to read what you have to say...
