High School Fly Fishing Championship
« on: April 21, 2007, 09:27:47 PM »

High School Fly Fishing Championship tomorrow at the Trout Park in Mission. I know it's a little late notice, But I just got the news of my news wire. Sounds like Randy Morgan of Hatch Matchr's is sponsoring this one. $800. in prizes. Nice to see that someone has finaly picked up the ball after I had to let it go three years ago. Now that I know about it, I will be there to let you all know how it goes.

Damn it is tomorrow, the end of April already. :-\ Sorry OldtimeHockey, it has been so busy at this end I totally forgot to contact Randy to hook your school up for this. Next year I'll be more organized.

Good luck to all the young contestants tomorrow.

Perhaps phone Hatch Match'r at 604-467-7118 and leave a message so someone can answer you in the morning if you wish to attend.

Yeah I know, I thought perhaps Randy would check his voice mail in the morning. Anyways, it seems like one young fella on flybc.ca is attending and knows what's going on, perhaps you can ask him there:

Lucky me I happen to live on my own private trout lake.Today we purchased 1500 of the trout from the championship. These were released into my back yard. They were  already picking bugs of the surface as they were released.Looks like it is going to be a very fun year here in Langley!

Look for the goods on the championship in my column, coming up on the reports page.

Just found out on friday that my email was out (receiving but not sending). I have switched to email so my report should be up next week. Yes Dan won one of the categories.
