these fish are hatchery raised, pellet fed and are pump full of anti biotics, they should not even be killed to eat, who knows u could become ill from ingesting them. they are starved before they are put in their and are not hard to catch. they are not like the interior fish, they are for seniors and disabled to catch because they are so easy to fish for.

Sounds like you had a lot of fun. That's all that counts. How about a picture of your famous fly.

I have to question if you really have any idea what your talking about. ???Are you suggesting that cody catches these fish only hours after they have been put in the lake? :PDo you think they haven't had plenty of time to feed. And do you really think that the hatcherey is starving fish??They have a great triploid progam and they are stocking fatter healthier fish than ever before.Fishing the local lakes is a great way to spend a few hours. Why does a person of any age or physical  ability have to drive for hours to go fishing.By the way do you think interior lakes are not stocked as well?Of course they are or there wouldn't be any left. Good on ya cody keep fishing and posting I'll continue looking forward to your reports. ;)

Trout80 is correct. Many of the interior and kamloops lakes are stocked. Not with the same type of fish but still stocked. You want to know more about the stocking programs and which lakes are stocked go to http://www.gofishbc.com/ it will list all the lakes in BC which they stock. It also gives you details on what type of fish they stock each body of water with. Kingpin get your facts together before spouting off. Myself I wont keep these fish ( because I dont keep ANY trout ) but everyone has the right to keep them if they so desire.
