Well the government was exceptionally quick to act when an independent panel recommended they give themselves a pay raise, that probably struck them as a way more important issue than the recommendations they received from the independent all party panel on fish farming. I guess if the people against fish farming were to put some money in their pockets like the Norwegian billionaire that owns most of the fish farms does then there would be action!!
