Has anyone pulled any decent trout ( 3+lbs ) out of Rolley in the last 2 or 3 years ?

The coastal lakes are nutrient poor, therefore the triploids will not grow at such a rapid rate compared to stocked fish in the interior lakes even if they are not caught.

Well then, can anyone tell me what lakes (if any) in region 2 produce bigger than the average 1lb trout ? I know the answer people will give is "get out there and try some" but to tell you the truth, I have tried 'em all around here and aside from broodstock, the biggest trout I pulled out of lakes around here was from Green Timbers believe it or not ! My experience is limited but my effort is not. Do I need to go to the Sunshine Coast ? Sub -Alpine ? The Hazelmere U - Catch ? :D I just want to have the best shot at catching a beast 8)

The key is coastal lakes with lots of limestone there. Thats all you'll get from me.

Harrison,Chilliwack,Pitt lakes just to add to the list. The big lakes around here hold some big fish. Also some in the Squamish/Whislter area as well.

There are some lunkers in Whonnock lake. Hard to come by though, more of a fluke than anything else when that lake gives up a big Bow. My guess is they are preditors. I have been trying to come up with a pattern for them but have yet to figure them out.
