Salutations fellow anglers, my name is Paul and was born on Aug. 23 in the year 1978.  I have just recently moved to the Southern Interior Plateau from Vancouver, where I lived and fished for over 20 years.  Growing up on the Howe Sound was where I had my first introduction to angling.... jigging for cod, sole and trapping crab.  My freshwater experiences began as a flyfisherman on the Harrison R. and the Vedder R., instructed by my late uncle, Jim Gibson, Aggasiz native, who was an avid and very accomplished flyfisherman in his own right.  I am grateful that he was able to pass on his knowledge of hydrology, entomology, fly-tying and casting to me over the years and have been able to maintain a healthy and ethical approach to all my angling and outdoor endeavours because of him.

Only fish the Vedder and Fraser and love float fishing for steelhead (Been out like 10 times this year and hooked 4)

My name is Paul. Married for 32 years (to the same lady). I live in Chilliwack and work hard to live up to my handle.

I've taken up hunting again after a 25 year break; gives me a chance to get out in the off season, spend time with a son in Prince George and put some organic meat in the freezer. In between these activities I work as an independant financial advisor.

I also enjoy camping, cooking, carpentry and wood carving. I don't have any pets however there is a cat that lives in the house with my wife and I.

My favorite river is the Chehalis, particularily the canyon and for me steelhead fishing is the best part of the fishing season.
