Hello fishermen and fisherwomen:
I used to live in Coquitlam and now I've moved to Williams Lake...Yippi. For a job, by the way
I've been fishing lower mainland for about 3 years and I was starting to have my favorite spots for the specific salmon runs of the season, but now in Caribooooo I have no idea where to go fishing and all I hear is that there are lots of good fishing spots up here!
I don't like lake fishing, because I'll need a floating device, so I have to find river fishing spots.
Fraser runs up here too, but I'm not sure if it has salmon this far up.
There is Chilko, Chilcotin and Quisnel rivers up here, but I'm not sure which part of them are fishable.
It seems to be so hidden, un published part of BC that I cannot find readily available info on fishing spots.
On this site most of the news and reports are about lower mainland.
So, Please, if anyone has any news, reports, suggestions and ideas about fishing spots and opportunities in Cariboo region, just post it or reply to this one.
I'm really getting ichy thinking of summer coming up soon and i have to figure out where to fish. It's a nasty ich, and you'll understand if you're a fisherperson too
Cheers to you all, and happy fishing!
