Newbie from Chilliwack here,
Lyle is the name and fishing is my game.
Mostly hit the Fraser for bar fishing or sturgeon, but have slogged up and down the Vedder on many a cold and wet day.
Wife of 20 years and I head out most weekends to "watch some river go by".
Love to lake fish with the old fly rod when we get a chance to head up country.
Biggest sturgeon so far is about 7'6". My legs still shake when we hook a big one and the fight is one!
Tight lines to all.  ;D

My name is Travis and have been fishing the squamish system very frequently for the last 5 years.  Would love to swap tips and ideas with fellow squish heads like me.

Hey there,

I never tried squamish yet, but very interested in trying ASAP if it is good now.

We used to go to Vedder and Stave, as well as fraser river for salmon.

I could be available on Monday and Tuesday. Are you planning to go fishing on next Mon or Tues in squamish? If so, could you please let me know as I'd like to go with you together if possible.

On the other hand, let me know when you are interested in going to our locations.

Hi everyone,  I'm Oliver.

I grew up in the gulf islands, so naturally ocean fishing has been a hobby for a long time.  Now I'm in Van for university--I've never fished on the rivers around Van yet but am looking to get into it.  Great site!!
