Hello, I am a father of two, married for 19 years, and live in Chilliwack. Been fishing for about 7 years. Got a brand new Bradley smoker 3 years ago, and would you believe it?, It's still wrapped up. I plan on doing some smoking this year... the fish kind ;]

Chris from Bellingham, WA.  Married with 3 young kids.

Started fishing the Vedder in 2002 and hooked ever since. but still consider myself new since I always learn something every time I go.

1st generation American (parents Canadian)
Language: English, huh?  Canuck, eh?
Favorite fish:  coho - caught my first one in 2009
Favorite method: Catching chum on a jig
Favorite Peaceful moment: watching the sunrise while fishing on the river.  It's a religious experience.

Sincerely appreciate all of the advice from the regulars I meet on the river and FWR. Here's to garbage-free rivers and tight lines.

My name is Brandon and I am a new rookie fisherman. I want to get to know some new friends and start to fish.  I have some new rods and I am trying to learn to catch the big one.  This is a great site.

I  live in Ontario, and I've really only just started taking recreational fishing more seriously as a hobby. Trying to get out more, read books and websites, watch videos etc.

Anyhow, my wife (and our toddler son) are coming out for a week or so to visit family late in October, and I'm thinking it would be a good distraction to escape a couple of times, and drop a line in the water somewhere.
You might see me near Port Moody and/or Coquitlam, standing on shore, trying to have some fun fishing....

I'm very thankful to Rod for the tips he's given me about some of the stocked lakes, and the suggestion to head to Chilliwack.

Cheers

Craig's my name.
Born and raised in small-town Nova Scotia.
Grew up chasing brookies and browns spring/early summer, mackerel in the summer, stripers in the fall, and spear fishing smelt (the odd halibut, trout) on the ice in the winter.
Lived in Vancouver for 5 years now, but just getting back into fishing as of late.
Currently trying to figure out the Vedder and Cap - have only been out a couple of times so far, hooked into a couple of coho but have yet to land one - that'll change by the weekend.
Been browsing this site and Rod's video for a few months now - have certainly picked up a lot and learnt a good deal about the local fisheries.
Looking forward to finding my groove on the local rivers.
