I feel privileged to live here and to be part of the fishing community. Got 4 boys and the most wonderful wife I could ever wish for. i've fished since i was a kid with my dad, but he never really knew what he was doing.  I recently quit a job that i hated, and as a gift to myself i bought a new spin rod, and started fishing regularly this summer.  i've been to a few local lakes and caught rainbows, and have fished the tidal Fraser, Stave, Chilliwack and Veddar.  I am a nOOb, so please don't hesitate to offer any words of wisdom if you see me doing anything wrong.

Hi,

Just subscribed to the site and will introduce myself. I'm a long time avid fly fisher with interest in fishing BC still waters as well as enjoy tropical flats fishing. My fiance is a beginner but seems keen to learn and has the same fly fishing itnerests. Have been living in Chilliwack for almost 20 years now.

I hope this site has some good fishing information available and I also will use it to try to sell some no longer used fly gear.
