My bro used to stay there every year for a week in the summer and I'd go there for a few days.  I would never fish Otter because in a word it "sucks" but if you continue up the Otter Lake  Rd. towards Aspen Grove you can get into the Pike Mtn. lakes.

Ever since they started stocking the lakes with 3N's (triploids) the fishing has improved immensely up there!  Some of the better lakes lately up there have been Clifford, Ricky,  and Kump although the fish in Kump are a tad on the skinny side...some big fish though.

If you continue up the Otter Lake road even until it hits the highway you'll come to one of my old faves...Kidd Lake.  Sill one of the better lakes if you like to get a 10+ lb. fish.  All these lakes take under an hour to get there. Hope this helps.

Stayed there over the May Long w/e and it was fine for camping.  Lots of smaller fish in the lake nipping at the fly so I'd recommend to head elsewhere for the angling, but the camp site in the provincial park was no problem.
