Hello fishers, an extra special fishing report today for two reasons. 1. Got my biggest cutthroat today (21 inches). 2. Found out just how powerfull bear spray is when it fell out of my vest and shot NEAR my face (I could open my eyes again and breath within 20 minutes)
One quick though was, that its not as painfull as I expected, I just couldn't open my eyes at all.
Anyways, my buddy Mark and I went out of town a bit, and tried a river that I always thought was fishless... Was I ever wrong!
The river:
From the road above it.
From right on the river.
And from RIGHT on it.
Mark TRYING to catch a fish.
Mark with a fish. This was pretty much what came out of every decent spot.
My big fish of the day.
My first fish of the day.
Another one.
What I thought was the coolest photo of the trip.
So there it is. Trout fishing at its best. Oh, and I found a clean picked animal skeleton, possibly an elk or a moose. Thats why you have to take bear spray... but don't spray it in your own eyes.
