Peg Leg September 13 2007
« on: September 13, 2007, 02:51:01 PM »

Well what a day.  Saw the following caught, Pinks, Springs, top of an HMX rod complete with terminal tackle.

Guy fishing below cast and lost the top half of his HMX rod I caught his terminal tackle hook to hook.  When it was pulled in the top half of the rod was still attached.  I have seen strange things out there but.......

Wave after wave of Pinks and springs were moving through with the odd sockeye mixed in.  Good day on the river.

How busy was it? I'm always surprised by the amount of people that are able to fish midweek during the day... Must be nice

Rough count 100-200 people 75-100 trucks.

Not like Sockeye season, but busy.

What method do most people use to fish at Peg Leg?

Bottom Bouncing, floats, spoons?

Do you need to wade out in the water or can you just cast from the shore?

I am planning on heading over there tomorrow morning. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
