Leave the wool at home, baits the ticket for success for biting fish.

Fish guaranteed with well cured roe, I can see my float going down now, in 8 hours if I am not late again.

awsome. Hopefully i'll spend the whole day at the vedder on saturday this weekend. Went for 3 hours last saturday. Nice fish, seems they've moved in.

Don't worry I've got a few cures all made up. 

Anyways, I"m sure other things will work too.....like spoons.  I"m not trying to advertise here for Rodney but this beauty which was caught last Thursday took a silver and green spoon which I got from Rodney.





But roe sure does work.

Oooh, green ones work too eh. Actually, when the bites were off today, I was just thinking how I wish that I had my spoons with me. Sometimes if roe fails, metals would bring them in.

Yes, I think my roe even made Chris salivated today. There were too many times today when the float was buried just seconds after the bait landed in the water.

Nope, that one was on my friend's bait caster.  He wanted to try out my pin, so while he was using my rod/reel, I used his rod and tied on a spoon. 

That day there were 3 fish taken on roe and 1 on the spoon.

Not sure what Rodney's was but mine was white today.

There seems to be by reports a mix of all three colored fleshed fish. A load is going in the smoker now, before leaving for fishing.
