hit the prison run first light , i was the only guy there for about hour and half with no luck saw fish but couldnt hook em, seemed like they were moving, or just wasnt using the wright tackle. so my buddy and i moved up past the ranger , got 1 nice hatch and we hooked a couple of lunkers but  didnt land them, pretty tough to get them on 10lb and #2 hooks, still fun to play. saw a few springs caught,water was in perfect cond up there, waiting for my other buddy to give me the chehalis report,must be fish in there. sounds like lots of guys getting fish this year. only 2nd time out for me.I fished winter harbour this year and coulndt keep the hos off supposedly it was like that down the coast, we should have good #s in the rivers this year. good luck to all

where above the ranger? we were fishing with pins
