Fished first light at the mid river today and the bite was on.  the old timer beside me hooked up with 3 'hoes and a jack in an hour, while i landed 1 spring around 12lbs and a jack around 5 lbs , lost other 5. a nice hatchery doe popped out the hook at my foot step.  ..  2 for 7 for the trip.  i was fishing with peach and cherise wool combo, that was the ticket for me today.  first chinook of the season for me.. it sure feel good to lift the monkey off my back.    

Great day, water visibility was excellent too.  Sunshine was a pleasant surprise!

thanks for the report. nice to see you had a good day. I was SKUNKED! Tried different spots from top to the lower. Fishing seemed to be quite slow on tuesday.

Where were you? We were up and down the river the whole day and all we found was rotting pinks.

Yeh the canal is full of pinks mostly dead or dying
Yesterday i got some to bite higher up the canal
just below the gong show
clean but not fresh
didnt see any ho's
a few springs were caught
no luck mid to upper in the morning

i was fishing just 200m up from the crossing, in a fast current. No pinks there, mostly springs and some cohoes, a chum was spotted too.
