seven houndred dollars later
« on: October 20, 2007, 07:05:50 PM »

Well went to the lower squamis first thing and ran into some car trouble >:( only wet my line till the service shop opened about 5 min. I then had to tow it there. It wasn't till noon when  I was fishing again in the chek this time :D. Hooked a few chum but no coho. Got the call to come get the car and then on my way home. I only fished for four hrs or so. The river looked good ;D.

Yah ,  what a day eh fishonsteelheader the Squamish was pretty dead . There were only a hand full of guys down at the lower end and didn't see any fish hooked  :P . Including the 15 minutes we fished . After getting the car problems sorted out and visiting Riverside Tackle , What can I say about these guys ( Riverside Tackle ) great bunch , they were very helpfull with assistance to our car problem needs + I spent a few bucks on a bigass trout decal to take home , they have lots of goodies , all you could ask for . They told us to give the Chekamus , not sure if I spelling is right , ........ to give it a try as there are coho in that system with chum . As fishonsteelheader said ,we were into a few big chum with a little silver in them but no keepers . Expensive day for my buddy , no more fishing for him since he will be working double overtime to pay off that bill he just racked up  :D ;)::).
