Basic honesty doesn't work for everyone, what safeguards are there to stop people from just printing a new license after they've tagged out all their springs or steelhead on their old one? As much as I can see this system is convenient unless I got something wrong here this sounds like a license to poach to me. I don't know anyone that fishes that doesn't frequent sporting goods outlets so I can't see it being that big an advantage except for the government to steal the small pittance the retailers are making now by selling them. You can buy a license at lots of gas stations on the way fishing if you're that poor a planner that you've forgotten to pick one up until then. If there is some sort of safeguard in place to stop people from just printing up multiple licenses then I guess I'm wrong, and sorry for being so pessimistic on a beautiful boxing day.
