Buying Hide
« on: December 14, 2007, 04:26:44 AM »

Anyone knows of stores that sales hide/fur?  Doing a custom binding work for customer.  Need to find a matching lamb skin.

Thank you.

there was a place in vancouver that sold and tanned hides. Not sure.... but you could check the yellow pages under leather tanning. Otherwise, call a local taxidermist..... they would probably know a source. I used to get all my deer/elk/moose hair scraps for fly tying from a local , now retired taxidermist.
